Chair of a decision-making board whose mandate was to facilitate the development, provision, operation and maintenance of 658 units of non-profit municipal housing accommodations.

Worked closely with property management, City Planning and Law Services, the community and various agencies. Reported to City Council.

Successful at putting forth a motion that created new housing units (none had been built in 10 years) and instrumental in networking and engaging stakeholders in the process so we could receive approximately $6 million in a Provincial Government funding bid to build 31 additional units of row housing (Fraser Townhouses).

Now, homeEd has over 800 rental units available to those in need.
